Researchers in multiple non-EU countries missing out on cash won from innovation scheme
Researchers from more than 100 organisations are currently missing out on money won from a major EU funding scheme, as their nations have not yet agreed deals to access the bloc’s overarching Horizon Europe R&D programme.
A total of 131 organisations are currently unable to receive money they expected from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, Research Professional News can reveal. The European Commission told Research Professional News on 29 October that these organisations are currently “financing their own costs themselves or from other sources”.
