Commission says latest deal for non-EU state access to R&D scheme shows commitment to openness
Researchers in Ukraine will continue to be able to access the EU’s massive funding schemes, after the country agreed a deal to join the latest iteration of the bloc’s research and innovation programme, Horizon Europe.
Announced on 12 October, the deal will mean researchers in Ukraine have nearly identical rights as colleagues in EU members states regarding access to the €95.5 billion in R&D funding that will flow through Horizon Europe over the next seven years.
