Council approves €5.61 billion for 2021-27
The EU has signed off its 2021-27 funding for Iter, the international project to demonstrate the viability of nuclear fusion energy, amounting to €5.61 billion.
The Council of the EU approved the amount on 22 February, after it reached an agreement on the funding in December.
