Ministers seek to open up EU’s space innovation

Wider reach for space sector pushed as EU adopts ‘space for everyone’ plans

The EU has moved to make its space sector more competitive, and enable more countries, companies and citizens to benefit from it, by adopting plans to attract a broader range of contributors.

On 26 November, ministers in the Council of the EU adopted conclusions on a ‘space for everyone’ initiative, which seeks to widen the scope of the sector to more countries and actors.
