Consortia win €131m for projects with ‘broader societal context’

     

Dutch research council announces winners of National Research Agenda call on societal breakthroughs

A total of 28 consortia in the Netherlands have won funding from a National Research Agenda call to carry out interdisciplinary research aimed at bringing about scientific and societal breakthroughs.

The consortia will receive a total of €131 million in the third round of the Research along Routes by Consortia component of the National Research Agenda, which is funded through the NWO research council on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
