Managers turn down heating to save energy and costs

Universities in the Nordic region have said they are learning to live with the consequences of an energy crisis that has caused sky-high electricity bills.

In Denmark, universities decided to lower the temperature in their buildings to 19°C, following a recommendation from the government. They also committed to switch off all unnecessary external lighting.
