Swiss universities and Wiley seal publishing deal

  

Sixth such agreement by publisher in 2021, following deals in Ireland, Italy and Spain

The academic publisher Wiley has agreed a four-year contract with a consortium of more than 40 Swiss higher education and research institutions, to provide unlimited access to its subscription content as well as the ability to publish articles with open access in more than 1,400 journals.

The ‘read-and-publish agreement’ with the Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries and the Swiss Universities group, announced on 29 April, “will increase the open access output in Switzerland”, Wiley said.
