EU ‘could facilitate pooling’ of multicentre clinical trials and fund research consortia on medicines
The European political group Renew Europe has called on the EU to “intensify cooperation in research and innovation”, in particular on health in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a position paper it published on 9 October, the group said the EU can do more to support research into the prevention and treatment of diseases.
