French presidency to prioritise university alliances, research and education synergies, and citizen involvement in R&D
Priorities for the January-to-June 2022 French presidency of the Council of the EU will include facilitating synergies between higher education, research, innovation and society, the country’s research minister Frédérique Vidal has revealed.
Speaking at an event on 28 October, Vidal said the country’s focus for its turn hosting and shaping the EU-related activities of the bloc’s member state governments could be summarised by “three key words: recovery, power, belonging”.
