Leru and CE7 groups call for EU action on priorities including universities’ role in innovation

The League of European Research Universities has strengthened ties with a counterpart group in Central and Eastern Europe, while both groups called for action from the EU on a set of short-term priorities.

Leru—a group of 23 universities in northern, western and southern Europe—announced on 12 September that it had signed an agreement with the Central European Universities group, which consists of universities in Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Poland, Serbia and Slovenia.
