Cambridge University Press has revealed its first artificial intelligence research ethics policy, which bans tools like ChatGPT from being used as an author of academic work.
The publisher said the policy will provide clarity to researchers amid concerns about the misleading use of powerful, generative AI tools such as ChatGPT in research.
