Labour scientists choose new executive committee

Isabel Creed picked as chair of Scientists for Labour, replacing Joseph Buckley

PhD student Isabel Creed has been chosen as the next chair of Scientists for Labour, a socialist society representing the interests of scientists in the Labour Party.

Announcing the appointment on Twitter on 26 July, SfL said Creed was “delighted to be the first female chair” of the group. Creed, who is currently studying for a PhD in theoretical chemistry at the University of Oxford and previously served as SfL secretary, replaces Joseph Buckley in the role.
