Universities Wales tells committee that a major upcoming bill needs better provision for research

Vice-chancellors in Wales have called on the country’s government to strengthen provisions for research and innovation in a bill that will change the landscape for tertiary education.

Giving evidence on 2 December, representatives of Universities Wales, which represents vice-chancellors, told the Welsh parliament’s education committee that strategic duties around research and innovation in the bill should be made stronger.
