Peter Bazalgette, who led government-commissioned review on sector, to chair Creative Industries Council
A former board member of the national research funder UK Research and Innovation who led a major review of the creative sector is to become industry co-chair of the Creative Industries Council.
ITV chairman Peter Bazalgette, who served on UKRI’s board between 2017 and 2021, will take over from Tim Davie, director general of the BBC, from 1 December.
