Regional director of government’s Science and Innovation Network to join funder in July

The national research funder UK Research and Innovation has appointed civil servant Frances Wood as its new international director.

Wood, who is currently a regional director for the UK government’s Science and Innovation Network covering Europe, Russia, Turkey and Israel, will take up the £83,000-a-year role on 11 July, UKRI said.
