Cambridge University gets green light for innovation district

   

West Cambridge Innovation District will provide collaborative working space for businesses and researchers

Plans for a new Cambridge innovation district, where industry will work “side-by-side” with academia, have received the green light from local authorities.

Approved by Cambridge City Council on 29 July, the plans will see the University of Cambridge’s existing West Cambridge campus “restyled” as an innovation district connecting “world-class researchers with world-class businesses”.
