Former prime minister argues the UK has not reached ‘peak grad’ levels

Former UK prime minister Tony Blair is to call for as many as 70 per cent of young people to enter higher education by 2040.

In a report due to be published this week, Blair (pictured) will say the proportion of people under 30 who go on to some form of higher education—be that in university or other settings–should increase to 60 per cent by 2030 and 70 per cent a decade after that.
