OfS looking at ways to scrap early statistics data collection

England’s regulator will consider reforms to remove unpopular Heses return

The Office for Students is to launch a consultation on its approach to university funding, including potential reforms that could facilitate the removal of the Higher Education Students Early Statistics data return.

The consultation found that respondents felt the removal of Heses would be “a significant benefit to in-year individualised data return”.
