Employers ‘deeply disappointed’ by strike action after talks

University and College Union members walk out after progress made in pay and pension rows

Employers are “deeply disappointed” by the University and College Union’s decision to continue strike action this week despite progress in talks over pension and pay disputes.

UCU members are on strike again this week for three days despite offers from employers last week on pensions and pay that UCU general secretary Jo Grady described as a “breakthrough”.
